I love to see the temple

I thought it'd be fun to take pictures of the kids at the Houston temple, since we had some time to kill during Spring break. I was also inspired by some of the talks during General Conference about temples and teaching our kids the importance of preparing for the temple. President Monson said, "To you parents of young children, may I share with you some sage advice from President Spencer W. Kimball. Said he: 'It would be a fine thing if … parents would have in every bedroom in their house a picture of the temple so [their children] from the time [they are] infant[s] could look at the picture every day [until] it becomes a part of [their lives]. When [they reach] the age that [they need] to make [the] very important decision [concerning going to the temple], it will have already been made.' Unfortunately, my camera battery started dying as soon as I started taking pics. So...I didn't get the *perfect* pics that I was envisioning to put on our walls, but it was a good dress rehearsal (also, bribing them with vanilla wafers didn't work out as well as I had hoped it would-Lily just wanted to keep cramming them in her mouth). I also want to take a good picture of the temple and make it into a pretty canvas-type piece for our front entry, but I completely forgot while we were there! I haven't been so great with my planning lately. Anyway, hopefully soon I can get us all back there and try again. But for now, you can enjoy these snapshots.
