We love Fall!!

This weather's PERFECT! We've been spending so much time outside enjoying the wonderful fall weather.

Claire's in Nature Girls--a fun homeschool co-op group just for girls!!

After having done many many extra chores, Claire got to buy roller skates!

This is one tenacious little boy. The other day Scott decided he wanted to ride his bike without training wheels. I was a little skeptical about the idea, but I helped him take them off. It wasn't looking like he was quite ready. A few days later we put the training wheels back on. Then a few days later he found the wrench and took the wheels off himself, and he practiced and practiced in the garage. Still wasn't looking very hopeful. He kept trying and trying literally hundreds of times in the culdesac, and a couple days ago he got the hang of it! Today he decided he was ready to bike down our sloped driveway--no problem. He wanted to bike down the side of the steep levee by our house, but I had to say no to that one. I am just so impressed with his patience and determination. I'm so proud of him!

We're enjoying classes at the science museum.  The kids had fun playing on the pirate ship they set up outside the museum.  Last week we got to go to the butterfly center for the first time--it was pretty cool!
